Entry The exhibition “these walls are not here to defend us” at Merlin can only be visited with a valid ticket.
Tickets are available exclusively online at tixa.hu. No on-site ticket sales are available. There is no need to print your ticket — it can be shown on a mobile device.
Ticket Prices
Regular Ticket: 2,000 HUF
PocketJoy Supporter Ticket: 5,000 HUF
TÓTalJOY Supporter Ticket: 15,000 HUF
Supporter ticket holders will receive a special gift, which can be collected at the entrance (Merlin, 1052 Budapest, Károly krt. / Városháza Park).
Please note: If you do not receive your gift and do not report it immediately to our staff on-site, we will not be able to process complaints afterward.
PocketJoy supporter ticket + gift
If you purchase a PocketJoy ticket, you’ll receive a badge at the exhibition venue as a gift, featuring a stamp design created for OFF by Endre Tót, one of the most acclaimed artists of the Hungarian neo-avant-garde.
TÓTalJOY supporter ticket + gift
IIf you purchase a TÓTalJOY ticket, you’ll receive a tote bag at the exhibition venue as a gift, featuring the stamp design by Endre Tót.
Visitors under 18 or over 70 years of age, and/or those holding a valid pensioner ID, are entitled to free admission.
Press Registration: Complimentary entry is available exclusively for accredited press representatives with prior registration and confirmation. (Registration)
Please note that no additional discounts are available.
For group visits of 12 or more people, the purchase of an admission ticket is required.
For school groups with students under 18, admission is free for up to two accompanying teachers.
Programs associated with the exhibition require a separate ticket. Tickets to any program also grant access to the exhibition on the same day.
